Fishing is very slow on lake of the woods this weekend. We got one fish today. About 20 yesterday but all dink sauger. Biggest was a 16” walleye. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Brought home 2 walleyes, 2 perch and a crappie yesterday for the weekend. Caught a few more perch and about a dozen northerns. Slow but overall a pretty decent weekend.
Couple of these are on other threads already but a few pics from this year so far. I haven't been out much this year. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
That last photo looks like a carp. Have seen rare photos of carp caught through the ice. I recall, raised in central OH, that there was a formula for safety on ice, starting with one inch, etc. I recall walking on Madison Lake, west of Columbus- 24 inches of ice and they were driving cars on it. Western Lake Erie has ice fishing events. Shanties are set up in rows, have a post office, mayor, police chief, etc., just like a town.

Working from “home” tomorrow. Some serious wind out on Mille Lacs tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night. Parked 100 yards off the road in a random spot. Couldn’t see a thing when we got here. Will be drifted in for sure tomorrow. Going to be fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mille lacs dink. Would make a good lake of the woods eater if we were there. Kinda surprised we are marking fish/catching right off the road like this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m surprised because we went off the road 100yds no where near where we wanted because of the white out in a random spot. Crazy we are actually marking fish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
