Do any of yall subscribe to this delivery service? Just looking for an honest review before I pull the trigger. I mean, it's just $100 a month so no big loss if it doesn't live up to its claims but thought I'd ask.
Interesting, and minimum of $130+ a month. I like fish except for salmon and tuna steaks, with my luck of the draw that is what I would get.
I like coho and king salmon but cant stand that farm raised stuff. At one point I was working with salmon on a daily basis to the point I developed an allergy to it.. but I'm good with it again. My main interest would be the sable and halibut.
I was trying to find the monthly shipping cost without logging on/ signing up for an account. Am I missing it?
If you choose the 12 portion option the shipping is $10, if the 24 portion is chosen it's free shipping. So 12/$130 24/$225
I remember when monk fish was like 4 bucks a pound. Last time I bought it was 12 bucks a pound. We are lucky as I have access to a commercial fish monger near me, he literally has an airport pick twice a week and can get me most anything. There is also a market near by that is way better than your average fish market. Both are costly but excellent
I just have whole foods and they're uber proud and every filet you purchase and it comes with an uppity explanation from some kid whose never even seen the ocean, I'm over it.
Looks like I'm a subscriber now. And they gig you for extras like scallops, a $60 add on but I ain't complaining, lol.
I probably just haven't eaten "other fish" enough but i'll take fresh walleye, perch or crappie over everything else any day of the week. Not a salmon fan at all although I do like halibut and cod.
Interested, should some body have feedback. We've done butcher box before, but kids have moved out of the house, so I think we've stopped it now.
Love fish but dont eat enough. About once every couple months I have an insatiable appetite for fish with crab cakes on top. Have no idea why. Ate a ton of it last week. In fact, this post makes me want some tonight. Its on.
