Found out my can call was froze up this morning so I just had the pleasure of chucking it at a squirrel for redemption!
Drilled him in the side and he about ripped the sapling apart getting out of dodge.

    Ahhh life is good!

    Gorgeous morning here in Michigan.

The first deer I saw was a doe fawn- bedded 30 yards away.

I've seen 3 does since, but a long way off.

The wife gave me a heated vest for my birthday, my birthday is not till next month, but that's just her. Anyway, I'm wearing it on stand this morning and this thing is Awesome! I already had to turn it down cause I got too hot. If any of you struggle with the cold like I do, look into one of these things. Truely Awesome!

Here's a random thought. Did you ever notice that squirrels and chipmunk and etc. always look like they're tweeking? Makes you wonder if they all have a drug problem! Just sayin!!

You’ll be totally spoiled now. I can’t imagine hunting without it at this point.
I’m working outside today, wearing one. Hell, I put it on to go get the mail!

It’s warm but I’m getting after them, hopefully this is the money spot. Wind in my face coming from this area, lots of rubs and a few old scrapes in there.

54 degrees out. Doesn’t feel like the late season.

I’m out for late firearm doe season. 49 deg when I came out at 2. A little warm but we will see what happens. Brought the climber out for something different. About 20 yards inside of woods from green field. Bedding to right. Might be the last sit of the season for me. If it’s a doe it will be in trouble. Good luck PM shift

I have one on my lease too. Damn thing is all over the place. How it hasn’t been eaten by the coyotes yet I’ll never know.
