Which estrous scent do have confidence in?

None for me. In my experience you can occasionally get a younger buck to show interest, but never anything else. I always hunt doe bedding areas during the rut and nothing beats the real thing.

Great advice! Who doesn't like a trashy doe now and again. Next time I am hunting the rougher side of track I am breaking out the easy cheese and bud light

 

Good thinking - If you giver a few minutes to drink up on the bud lite it'll slow her down a bit and she won't run as far - makes the tracking job easier and helps to pre-marinade the meat.

 

Pulled a trail cam card today and found a perfect example of one of my trashy does...


This girl’s shaking her ass for the camera with doodoo hanging out her butthole... that's about as trashy as trashy gets.

I’ve had success with a few brands. I have 4 separate bucks on video just this year following my boot tracks and stopping to put their nose into a spot I laid down a 10 second squirt intended to stop a deer in a specific spot. This season I was using the estrus Buck Bomb.

Im not gonna claim it smells exactly like an estrus doe, but they definitely will follow it out of curiosity in the right situation. I’ve seen it too many times to not believe it.

 

I tried Tink’s golden esterus this year and had one young buck come off a doe. Other than that no luck in the years prior.

 

Never had much luck, maybe a few small bucks over the years.
