    They got to 110 yards and something got their attention to the north.

    I looked and cattle were coming. They got spooky so I took the shot.

    One doe down in the field.

    I’m settled in a spot, camera check here is a bust, but it’s not pointed in the best direction. There is a good chance they passed behind it...at least that’s what I’m telling myself. This is supposed to be a good spot to transition from thick stuff to food, I can’t do anything but sit and see what happens. I only have 1 deer in freezer, first doe will probably get it.

    Hope didn’t mess up not being able to hunt with extreme cold
    Kid being sick and work got in the way

    Busy day here.

    I got the doe cut up and on ice and then my brother said let's go to Applebee's for lunch.

    After lunch I drove to the farm, disposed of what little carcass I leave, then filled up with gas, drove back to my brother's, changed and I'm back on stand.

    He wants to kill a doe so we swapped spots for the afternoon. He's hunting the south green field and I'm in his small patch of woods surrounded by green fields.

    I have to say, I'm jealous that you are still killing, and that you need to put it on ice. I've been hanging deer outside for 45 days I bet. Buffalo is a freezer, and filled with Degens.
