    I enlisted into the Iowa National Guard this morning. I leave for basic training in February. Figured I was getting any younger!

    Thank you! Figured I should get basic training out of the way before I turn 30. Sneaking it in about a week before my birthday haha. I start AIT on May 4th,2 days before my birthday, in Virginia.

    Well the first week of rifle season, I carried my bow, only thing I saw legal was the neighbor dragging a buck that I had passed earlier in Archery season. The 2nd week of rifle season I carried a rifle. Filled my other doe tag on Friday the 13 th. Huh lucky 13

    How ironic

    2 ND Archery season starts the day after Christmas. I'll be out, how much I don't know. Heater body suit thou. I'll give it a try


    Dan do you have the booties for the heater body suit, if so are they worth it

    I don’t. I’ve never regretted not having them but my feet have gotten chilly a time or 2. I’ve hunted for 4 hours in -20 degree wind chill and didn’t get super cold. I will never hunt a late season without it.
