I had a little hiccup in life this weekend. My body decided it was time for some appendicitis, so had surgery and I'm on recovery now. Feeling alot better. But no hunting for me for a few weeks. I found a honey hole last year in late season, so hopefully it will be just as good this year. It was loaded with bucks. So I'm still not done and will fight for my buck til close of the season. I hope you are back on your feet soon and glad you have a long season. We have until mid January to harvest doe but buck season ends the first of January. I still have one buck tag in our neighboring county, but haven’t really seen anything to get too excited about. I will probably hunt a few afternoons down there but after next Sunday, the holidays will keep me out of the woods for 10 days or so as I will be in Colorado. My biggest priority is to get at least one doe and maybe two before our season ends.

Just updated the scores fellas. We're in 7th right now, but an 80" buck would rocket us up to 2nd! I'll be in Southern Illinois this weekend hunting a property that's got a ton of deer. Hopefully I can get a nice buck down and shoot us up in the polls, as well as break my buckless streak!

No deer for me this past weekend... Had shooter bucks in range both Saturday and Sunday evening, but neither presented a shot opportunity...
Tough season for me this year.. Didn't end up shooting anything in Illinois, movement was way down compared to years past.. My dad was out there for two weeks and he didn't kill anything.. Saw some deer in Maine but couldn't make it happen before the season ended. You guys have had a great season though!! Sorry I wasn't around for more input, this fall was crazy busy for me.

Not sure what a few more doe for for us, but I still have few weeks to put one down. Haven’t hunted in a week or so, but will be back out next weekend and intend to put down a couple of doe yet.
