    Set up and hanging out waiting for some action! Nice evening and putting this 10 down would make it nicer. Another year focused on one damn buck. I must be nuts.

    Spent time with the family today. I plan on getting in stand tomorrow though. Hopefully a buck slips up. Been slower this year then last. Keep it going guys! More blood will be spilt.

    No, daddy didnt show up, but that's what I was hoping. That was the only deer I saw and he had some injury to his right rear. Looked like he may have gotten his ass handed to him in a fight. I'll be in there come mornin looking for the big fella. He's there, just not cooperating. I think he is exiting bed the opposite way and I really cant hunt him that direction bc it is so thick and overgrown. I'm sure that's why he likes it.

    I ended up being stuck in my stand until 25 minutes after legal shooting light ended as I waited for a group of does to feed by.

    I knew that one of the farmer's sons had gun hunted that spot but I was amazed that nothing at all came out of the patch of woods I was hunting.

    The six point came from behind me and the does came from another property.

    I'll give it two more sits and then decide if I want to abandon it for the year.

    Been following along but not participating.

    Sat out second firearm season, figure less pressure is best. This coming weekend I do not have requested off so will likely be working, if not I'll get out.

    Regardless I have 10 days off starting on the 20th, and I will get out several times. This may be the first year in nearly 10 years I hunt in January. Have a few people I'd like to get some meat for, I've ate 2 tags now would like to fill a couple of the remaining 3.
