Thanks for clarifying. That was a little over the top on my speculation.

I just know how many “record” type deer are poached in some way or the other and then “sold” as shot in some grandiose fashion.

My apologies to the man and to the forum for irresponsible speculation on my part. If he truly snuck up within 25 yards and waited 4 hours undetected before making his shot, well......he at least has that going for him.

Is the video still out there? I would like to see it.

Haha right! But of all things, a fricken shed?? I seem to find one just about every year that's frozen into something, apparently I need to start making a bigger deal about it!

Does the Iowa DNR go to the Iowa deer classic and display “ The wall of same”? Maybe Jordan will be lucky enough to have his poached deer displayed for him there so everyone can see it!

Don't lose too much sleep over it. He has violations in three states apparently. If he has cheated enough to get caught SEVERAL times, how many times did he get by with poor behavior? You gotta figure that you only get pinched a fraction of the times that you break a law. I can only imagine what he got by with. You are probably closer to the truth than you know. I just hope that this is the time that makes him step up and do right from now on.

On another note, was there anything in the last care package I sent that you would like to have replenished? Just PM me if so. Take care.

That’s some kind of special right there. Telling stories of someone else’s shed picture? What makes someone think of that? Makes no sense.

Sad thing this guy isnt alone out there in this crap. You have a lot of individuals that have tried to turn this into a living and this is an unfortunate byproduct of that.

Guilty just under $4200 fine, plus however much he had to pay a lawyer to negotiate it. Hope he lost his hunting rights as well, no clue how to find that info though.

Sad a repeat game violator only saw a rather small monetary fine for violations....wow.

Thanks for the update, I've been very curious. I wish there was a report we could read from the CO detailing what the observed violation(s) were.

Late to the party i see. A few guys from here had filled me in but i wish i woulda remember this thread then.

I honestly thought boonerville had some great media. He "seemed" to the casual observer to be living the dream. I had never run into him on any other forums that i can remember and didnt know about his stints with MW and BHOD. The red flag for me was when he was bragging non stop about the scores of his deer, especially the one that "would have scored" 180s if he didn't have a broken G2. Seemed so narcissistic to me.

Reminds me alot of the ohiobooners guy back in the day on another forum, Ohiosportsman i believe it was. Don't directly quote me, but he was chasing a buck named "OG" that was supposedly a contender for world record typical. He (and others) posted trail camera pictures of the deer and talked about it for 2 years, there was even a few sheds produced, he had quite the reputation there such as Jordan did here until someone outed the guy as a fraud. He had bought replica deer mounts and made false claims on them to the DNR. Nobody ever killed the deer that we know of and it may have all been a hoax. A similar looking buck was hit by a car in Galian Ohio afterwards and could have been the one the sheds and pictures belonged too.

Definitely soap opera material for deer hunters!
