Just pulled a couple of cards, not one single shooter in front of a camera in over 8 days. Pretty disappointing. I'm not spending another dime on supplemental feed, food plots or any of that other cockamamie QDMA horsechit. In overthinking about it.. I have all these huge bucks all summer long I feed and they just straight up go someplace else on this section for a neighbor to shoot. So I guess next year I'll do absolutely nothing and hope that works since it's working so well for the neighbors. That's two years in a row now and not that I'm throwing a tantrum but I'm getting close..

That’s two zeros in a row for me. Been awhile since that’s happened. I know they are here so my strategy obviously sucks.

I’ll see what the cameras tell me but maybe it’s time to focus my energy on the evening sits. Didn’t have that option this weekend. Good luck PM shift!

    Congratulations!

I'm starting to get true itch to kill another doe but I'm gonna give it a few more days.

I will be heading out in about a hour. Pouring rain now, but going to stop at 1, then high winds. So I'm going to scout in a new spot I never hunted. I believe it's over looked. Going to scout for a couple hours then setup on the best sign. With 15 mph winds and rain, perfect for some stalking and scouting. This is going to be fun!

I didn't make it out this morning.

I woke up with a pounding headache, took a couple of Tylenol and went right back to bed.

I'll be back after it this afternoon.

I saw a pheasant a couple years ago walk thru my yard. But I don't think it was wild, probably a pet that escaped. I do wish there we more birds in this area. Only way I can hunt them is on a game farm.

I’m in the blind called the Slaughterhouse.
It has been better than the last two days of seeing squat.
Few minutes ago I heard a deer crash in the brush 75 yards uphill. The farmer got on the radio and said a big buck just jumped the fence going north.
    I’m south

Maybe they'll come back to eat during late season. Dont give up. Cameras only show a fraction of all activity- maybe need to check new locations.

And just like that, it's like someone flicked a switch, shots all around me. I had a small 6 chasing a doe.
