So only managed the one during my rutcation. Only managed to get out one final time after taking the buck and didn't have an ideal stand choice and seen squat. I'll be back out this coming weekend during the firearm season. I will have both bow and handgun with me. I'll shoot a doe with the bow if given a chance, maybe a buck if it is the first thing I see. Would rather shoot a doe quietly and hope a buck isn't far off. Good luck the rest of the way team, we're fastly apprpching the dreaded "late season". Would have said cold season but this November has been like no other in recent memory.
Been catching up at work all week. There was a few times could have and probably should have went out but was kinda burnt out after all last week. Have been seeing alot of chasing these last few days tho so hoping for a good weekend. Took tomorrow off so will be after it the next three days. It's gun season too so may take shotgun out time or two. Planning on heading out in the morning and hoping to sit in the bottoms were the beans were or if doesn't look promising will go back to stand I'm usually in. Haven't decided wjat I'll take for sure but if sit in the bottoms where its open field may take shotgun, sorry ha, just to open up range little. Yea I always could. I'd be afraid that I'd not be patient enough to use bow tho if had both ha. I'd rather take something with bow, not because of contest, but just because. Haveta see what morning brings, if neighbor is out he likes to be a Richard and drive all the way down to about 50 yards from stand and then walks 300 yards opposite direction to his blind. Got out twice this weekend without success. Hoping the late season brings something for me. I need some meat in the freezer!

Looks like we're in 13th with the newest totals. I should be good for another 50, but that's all I got. Anyone completely done for the year? I know Swamp is, but I thought he had mentioned a late season opening.

Still a lot of hunting for me. Our rut is until January and our season last until the second week in February. Seen a small buck Friday morning other than that it’s been slow in my neck of the woods.
