We just need you to shoot 5 or 6 more bucks and drive them to our state.

I had a basket 5 in front of me this morning. Couldn't bring my self to do it yet, least not on that property. Hopefully I won't regret it. Still plenty of season left. Good luck and be safe out there guys!!

How long do the seasons run for the people on our team?

Here in Texas (in what's considered the North zone) I have until January 19 to hunt, but only until January 5 for bucks. From Jan 6 - 19 is the special late season where I can shoot spikes and does.

I had an eventful weekend here. I took my bow and my son took his 243. Saturday morning he killed a doe. She was at 30 yards and ran maybe 20 yards after the shot.

Saturday evening we go out and have a little buck come in. This is the same little buck he has missed with his bow 3 times. He ended up shooting him with his rifle. We lost blood after 100 yards or so. Came back the next day with the dog and she found him within 5 minutes. I was one proud dad with one pumped little boy.

Well happy thanksgiving team, my hunt plans have been changing planned to hunt Xmas off work, now kids want to down to South Padre, so I’m going on a sprint the 12th through the 16th, in Ky to land what I can, hopefully both, long sits and stalk if needed.

A "Fergie" is part of the rules. If you get a buck that scores less than 50 the Fergie rule applies and you count it as 50 points. I never did catch where the Fergie name came from - I'm sure there's a hunt camp story about it!

At 7:00am I launched an arrow at this guy who showed up on camera for the first time on 12/2/19. I hadn't seen him in person until this morning.

On my way back to the property to look for him after a quick breakfast.

As of 1:45 I gave up the search. Bummed out. After a deep search on the property like today I'm planning on giving it a rest for a few days before I go back. I've got a camera running at a feeder on this property - if he survives I'll probably see him on camera again soon. Otherwise, I may see buzzards circling somewhere I missed.

Although it’s not the best scenario if the latter were to happen the points still count
