Going to slip out early from work tonight and go hunt a fence row overlooking hidden corn field on my lease. I'll be where the red star is at. We are suppose to have a 5-7 SSW wind so I should be in great shape to see deer right before dark. I am going to take the cross bow and the rifle tonight just in case a big one gives me a long shot. Hope for a close encounter so I can get us some more points!

Sounds like I’ll be ice fishing on Saturday. No other plans so I’ll get out Sunday for sure.

Checked the field tonight. Corn is still standing!

I'll be in the stand in SE Ohio tomorrow morning for an all day sit. I'm anxious to see what the Trail Cams are showing. I had some different bucks show up last weekend, but unfortunately I wasn't able to be there. Wish me luck. It has to be a minimum of 130" for me.

Nice thing is we still got a few I sense will minimum put some does down...then mix in a lucky buck or two and we might find ourselves having a solid number.

Way ive seen the contest over the years is if a team averages 100 pts a person, they are generally right in the thick of things at the end. 11 people....1100 pts.

This team is built to kill! Lets go

No. Only thing a person can do is use their second buck as pts for a doe. Bone Head, you have been so close. Keep at it!

Pfft at work just got a text a big boy sized up my buck target next to the plot. Got mad and made a scrape by my back plot. I wedged him between 2 trees so he didn't get pummeled this year. But makes me reconsider going down this weekend for another go around even if the orange Crew is out and about. Stay tuned cause I am crazy enough to make that drive and then again Wednesday before Thanksgiving!
