    Won't be tomorrow, got 2-3" of powdery snow. Going to be 10 degrees in the morning with wind chills below zero most of the day.

    I'm not about to try and strip down innthe blowing snow. I'll be back out Wed. or Thurs., I think the place needs a rest. It has had 4 hunters on it every day that I have hunted and probably 3 on the days I have not. Even today there was 4 when I was anticipating 2. I don't know how hard it was hunted in October, but I am guessing at least every weekend.

    Wind was north today. I watched the snow come straight down and blow every direction. It's always like that, but with 4 hunters all the time, them deer are getting educated. That is the only sense I can make of it, 12 years hunting rhe place and I have neber seen it like this.

    I know one guy is bucked out, another already shot a doe and the other shot a buck Friday.

    I should be alone Wed.-Fri.for certain. If not, I'm going to finish my time on public land I stand just as good of a chance.

    It’s hot and very still here in Alabama it 70 degrees now this time tomorrow it’s supposed to be in the upper 30s. Hopefully the bucks will be up and moving.

    Congrats, some of the ugliest shots can be the quickest kills. Doesn't mean we should take them, but just goes to show every deer needs searched for regardless what we think we see.

    Just 4 big old swamp does come straight to my tree. No shot, to close. Nothing following. Then got down wind and off they go. Also had a button buck come in right to the tree.
