Thanks for the suggestions on waterfowl loads. Everything I've read and everyone I've talked to say that steel pretty much is garbage unless you're 25 yards or closer. Going to look into tungsten and bismuth a bit more.

Thank you! We get a ton of them on Lake St. Clair too, but I had never even heard of a banded one. After a little bit of research , I found that less than 5 banded lesser scaup are reported in MI each year. Got crazy lucky with that one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
