No hunting for me today, my target buck has to go to Church! My boss wants me to kill him badly enough that he told me to do a dark to dark tomorrow. I shall cater to his desires!! :nana:

Ya know, just sitting here with nothing to do but ponder deep thoughts, I sometimes wish I were a squirrel. I mean they can climb trees without any special tools needed. They can jump from tree to tree just like a ninja. If a big buck comes along, they could whip out their little ninja squirrel bow and get a shot no matter where the buck was standing. I could be the greatest ninja squirrel hunter of all time! Course there's one problem I might have. When it came time to gut the deer, it might be hard to do with that little ninja squirrel knife! Oh well, such is life. You all may continue your boredom now.

Had a small doe and a young 8pt meet up. He followed her for a little but she must not have been ready so they both went there separate ways. no shot opportunities.

Ah yes, the first thermals rising coffee pee of the morning. Always a welcomed facial of smell.

Just had a little 8 come in down wind of me and saw 2 does 200 yards north of me. First deer I've seen since early- saw doe and fawn and then little buck a long way off.

Super slow, just a doe with a pair of fawns and a spike. Checked some sd cards, little to no action the last few days, definitely no shooters. Super lame.

Just saw a real nice 1.5 yo 8 point. That's 4 little bucks in the past hour. Promising future I hope.

I was just thinking about how my season has gone so far. After the tornado I haven't seen a lot of deer, maybe 10 or 12 (8 sits/52 hours), but getting a chance at my target buck, and then catching him on my cam afterwards has already made my season. I did let a smallish 8pt at 10yrds walk, so it's like catch and release. Now, all I need to do is get one more chance at big brows!

Man that was exciting hog didn’t go 30 yards and died the other ones started fighting and rolling and flipping the dead one all over the place they eased off into the thicket but I think I’m going to wait to go look at it until my father gets here with the four wheeler and his gun there were about 15 of them I only have 2 arrows left I’ll get pics up asap

Started feeling sorry for myself last night then told myself to shut up. Its November. I have my health, I am bowhunting, coffee is available, and most importantly I am allowed to sport this beard for another few days before heading back to work.

I think I’d rather take on 15 coyotes than 15 hogs. Sounds like you had some action!
