    Second straight day on this piece of public. Not a single deer sighting. Tracks are all over the place and that’s the problem, no beat down trails. Was 6* this morning. Surprised I made it to 10:00. Image1573251040.157588.jpg

    I've been on the stand for about an hour now. Just a couple of fawns, kinda wondering where momma is.. pulled a a sd card and am about to start going through it. I have a domestic cat, stray I guess, that is sitting out in the field. Kinda weird but the last time I saw a cat down here I put an arrow through a nice buck so.. 20191108_160559.jpg

    Hunt over, dropped glasses into the creek, went to retrieve them, the leaves in the creek deceived my depth and I went chest-deep in freezing ass water. Phone that was in my kangaroo pouch in hoodie went for a swim and is now part of the creek. I'm beyond pissed off.
    I'm home bundling up to warm up, I'm still freezing...and pissed.

    I have a coyote yipping about 200 yards to south and west of me. Hopefully it scares the deer my way or I get an opportunity to arrow him. This has been an interesting sit so far.
