2 squirrels got me excited until I figured out they were squirrels. Slow going again so far today. Not sure when the rut is in NY I haven't seen any hard chasing.

Why would you do that to all of us who are in the stand. We were all trying to enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods and you get that stuck in every single one of our heads.

    You’re an animal.

I'm so, so sorry... Time to YouTube up the covers (metal, mariachi...).

Or start into the born and raised 'tagged out' series...

Congrats to everyone with deer down. Dang hard to keep up.
Been checking cams for day doe. Only buck. So very glad I haven't gone out. Over night grams duty for a date night then will be out until the end of bow or I tag a doe before gun. Crazy cold 21 with 10 mph winds and snow. A couple of days like this and those doe will be moving in day light. So much more difficult than buck to shoot here.
Keep dropping them guys and stay safe.
    Congrats Sota

I wonder if the 8 in a row sneezing fit I just had will sound like a series of snort wheezes? It's up to every buck in a 500 yard radius to decide, I guess

When my toddler sings it sounds like, "Baby Shart doo doo doo." Way more amusing, especially when he does while changing the poopy diaper.

Heck with it. If I can't be quiet I can at least be comfortable. The gymnastics it took to get these suckers on from a tree saddle
    were probably funny to watch

Feels like 9 degrees right now with the wind. I’m cold to my bones and I’ve got all my cold weather gear on.

Good luck if you are out today! I had hoped
i could call in sick today, but my director had a death in the family Wednesday night, so I have to be at work to train the new hire.

Gun season starts tomorrow, I will be out Saturday afternoon and maybe Sunday morning with my sons helping a buddy do some intensive doe management with the .243. I am hoping one or both of my boys will get their first deer this weekend. I am off Monday for Veterans Day. I plan on doing an all day sit with my bow on Monday.

Sorry gentlemen it was a little bit of a chore dragging him out of the swamp to where I could get to the four wheeler. But he is exactly what I thought he was with a couple kickers and absolutely crazy mass on the bases. I can’t even get my hands around his bases, probably 6” bases. I’ll take and post better pics later. All I can say is I have been absolutely blessed these last two seasons! Image1573223079.587135.jpg Image1573223096.171602.jpg Image1573223109.992536.jpg
