You picture made me think, I've now killed two deer with my GrizzlyStik 200 grain Samurai heads and both have not made it past 100 yards, with one blowing through a knee joint upon exit and both after going through their deer were 8 inches or so deep in the ground. Very impressed.

@virginiashadow I am a big slick trick fan and honestly have zero issue with them in my usage of them outside of a true shoulder joint impact which why I built my set up this year from scratch to break 600 total grains and grab single bevel heads...OVERKILL x10 on whitetails but I have no worry LOL

Need to figure out a game plan for Friday. Gunna sit the north side in the morning and then make a move if I need to in the afternoon. Based on my previous posts of our land do you guys have any suggestions where I may set up noon-dark? Focus on doe bedding ? Get on the edge of the north swamp? Set up on the south end by the corn? Not exactly sure where they are bedding on the south end to be honest. I’d just be setting up in the south woods and hoping.

If I had standing corn still at my place I'd be hugging it in the nearest spot to other bedding OR along an edge with thickest cover that meets the corn. Standing corn they'll bed right in the sticking stuff. I get very sad everytime I see corn go out.

Otherwise I'm setting up tucked as close to bedding as I can or hunting the spots between two well used bedding areas for a cruiser

Also take some alka seltzer cold and flu dissolvable tablets. Day time variety ..helps me at work when I feel like hell.

Unfortunately the doctor is not an option today or tomorrow... I'll just keep taking meds/vitamins and drinking water and hope it goes away. Say a prayer for my immune system

Few fellow hoosier buddies of mine are texting me chaotic messages this morning with chasing and such occurring. Hope same for you! One guy has 7 bucks pushing a doe in and out of the corn under and by him....only 1 he said he wanted to shoot and it was focused more on whooping buck butt than holding still LOL

Well I just scored him once so far he rang in around 127 4/8. I thought for sure he'd break 130 but he's definitely shy. I'll do it one more time make sure I didn't mess up but im assuming I'm close

His right side was smaller than his left by a couple inches. Points on the board none the less!
