I had to work a half day and just decided to spend the evening with the family. I'm back at it tomorrow through the 11th. It's projected to be a perfect wind if that 10 pointer tries to hit the scrapes again.
Well had a pretty good sit. I thought I was gonna have a chance to make it happen but they never came in range. I had 3 bucks out in our field tonight an hour before dark. The biggest was mid 120's. Had he come closer I would have sent an arrow his way. I grunted and even snort wheezed and none of them really cared. They were all just milling around. Was happy to finally get some good action! So after reading some. I feel we need to stand with team 3 and not recognize boonerville. The guy has no integrity and cheaters cheat. Whether we win again or not we are doing it right, safe, and legal. Just my thoughts guys. If everyone can weight in that would be great. The only way I wanna be associated with that guy in via opposition.

1/2 before shooting time I had 2 bucks come through where I need them grunting the whole time. Never could see horns just bodies. 15 minutes later another comes through grunting he walks 2 trails near me and on his way back stands at base of tree. Definite shooter but too early. Rubs down from me. Great morning so far!

Worse part is he is a likable guy and I really like looking at all his stuff. He has many many farms and hundreds of acres in the land of the Giants yet the guy continues to hunt dirty. It's a shame and I don't want ppl looking up to him or emulating him. We need good role models for the new hunters. I saw 1 doe this morning. Checked the cam on my way out and nothing moved yesterday either. I'm eating a sammich then heading to property #2 to play with the decoy again. I got a pic of a nice 8 day walking out there on Monday.

Drew back on a buck this morning but he never gave me a shot. He stopped behind a small tree so I could not see his vitals then he took off running and grunting at something. Probably would have scored between 100 and 120. He was a tank of a deer. One of those where it looked like all his nutrients went to his body and not his rack. Getting ready to grab a shower then head back out for the afternoon.

Had 2 of the 3 bucks this AM walk directly towards my camera but no pics of them. Just makes you think of what all is walking around that we don’t see on cards. Been in all day. No mid-day walkers.
