    My doe died in the creek. As Im figuring out how to get her I see a mature buck coming. He comes to 15 yds and was gonna cross the creek. I hide behind a deadfall. He catches my wind and freezes and turns broadside. I put it right in the kill zone but I think I shot right over him....he snorted and ran. Getting canoe and checking arrow in a bit
