Oh which made me think had someone ask if I remembered two pictures with bow myself...having got the hunt and kill on film I didn't find it necessary (and thankfully because we forgot my bow at home after church for photos LOL)

Oh I get 2 buck tags I'll pick it up in a hour or so. You forget how heavy these bucks are when you're by yourself. He's got little white patches all over him. I'm getting him ready for the photo shoot as I type this. I think my dog is more excited than me shes going bananas right now!
Think it actually has some piebald in it or do you think it is heal marks that I know sometimes whiten. TOO COOL BUD!!! You and I both got another buck tag, hopefully we both punch them!
Not sure how much I'm going to be able to get out this week. Work in the office Mon-Wed and then get done with work at 3:30 on Thurs-Fri. Daylight savings is throwing a wrench into everything. I'll only be able to get an hour and a half Thursday and Friday evenings. Saturday is rifle opener. Yearly tradition where I go to my older brothers 80 acres. Might bring my bow with me this year, but haven't decided on that yet. Going to be extremely tough to get a nice buck after this weekend with all the hunters out.
Lean into that toughness, embrace the weekend though take the bow if you want but no regrets if you don't man! After guns go bang and things get tougher just makes success that much sweeter!

Next chance to hunt for me is this Wednesday afternoon. I canceled my Thursday vacation this week due to rain/winds and took a half day Wednesday. I will be chasing the big 10 this Fri-Sun also . I have seen him 2 times now never closer than 60 yards. I have 3 years of history with this dude. He has a scar on his back from my arrow from last year! Here is a side view of him...
