Dude, don't worry. You'd be surprised at what doesn't affect deer. 3 times in the past week I thought I was so loud...and then saw deer within a short time.

Now I know why the toms came running. Two dogs running through here. The day from hell.

Sounds a little corny but you’re basically the motivation for me doing it. I’ve never been a hang and hunt guy. I’ve always had preset trees with sticks already in them. This is like my 2nd or 3rd time ever taking a stand, sticks and all and moving it.

    Thanks for the motivation!

I dropped her off at the processor, had a bite and jumped into a different spot.
20’ ladder stand on a creek, edge of a little wood lot.
No one ever steps into these woods, hopefully something filters out

This time of year, crows, trees, they all sound like grunting buck!
    Yesterday I had a tree sounding like a meowing kitten....drove me nuts...lol

So glad I didnt hunt!!! Look out the kitchen window and theres the big 8 , the 10 and another buck I couldn't make out chasing a doe in the green field next to house. I no sooner said looks like a hunt out back in a.m. I look back up and the boys are trucking across the field towards nieghbors and our place across the street. I just bought some tinks today. Only scent I've ever gotten a buck with.. A 19 in wide 8 my FIL named ole shovel nose
Good luck tomorrow guys. Phone will be turned off tomorrow.

Back on the stand after a long week of work. First thing I saw when I pulled in was the neighbors dogs chasing a small buck, I've had words with this degenerate before and I think it's just time to handle it the okie way, kick his dumb a$$. But he's no more a man than I am fence post and would probably cry to the authorities instead of taking his lumps he so deservedly earned.

Nothing for me tonight. Of course now that it’s dark the wind is completely stopped. I bet they’ll be moving like crazy tonight. Still have no power at my house, might go back in the woods mid morning rather than crack ass dawn. I have a feeling the deer are going to be moving all night long and will be going back to bed early. I don’t know

Eyes on a shooter. 80 yards to my NE on the corner of the corn. Paid zero attention to my call but wasn’t chasing.

Checked my arrow. Confirmed clean miss. I feel a little better. He was standing 6 yards further back than what I thought he was. I always range a few trees around me just to give me an idea and he came in behind me, fast. Caught me off guard. Didn't have time to find the tree I ranged earlier so I guessed. I guessed short.
