Johnny Unitas and Barry Sanders or Jim Brown, never stopped for negative yardage.

Brady, Unitas, Star can't go wrong there... Sanders, Brown and Peyton 3 of the greatest ever. I chose Montana just because he had ice water in his veins and he made some very great comebacks...although he did have rice.. peyton, he could block, catch, and run better than anyone I have ever seen.. plus, I believe he also a bowhunter! now, had Bo Jackson not gotten hurt, he'd be the greatest ever..

Sota, what are your thoughts the Vikings current qb situation? I think the guy can play, but he is not fitting well there..

I have resolved to not say hurtful truths that offend viking fans this season. I am not the guy to ask about the vikings, I can not stand the team, the uniforms, the stadium, or their fans. They are pathetic and do not acknowledge the 58 years of futility, and when it comes to NFL conversations they are still at the kids table, yet they think they can be on the same plateau of a team that has won it all.

100% agree...I am a cowboys fan and I take a lot of heat, but we have superbowls albeit, not in the past 20+ years! I hate our owner, coach and GM.. But I will die a boys fan.. Vikings always seem to be the talk, but they never finish out well, a lot like dallas..

Came here to say this. It's insane the amount of yards Sanders had in only 9 years playing. He has more than Frank Gore who's right behind him on the all time list, but Sanders played 5 less years.

where does E. Smith #22 the all time leading rusher fir into the conversation? For me, I loved him, he was tough, he was strong, he had great vision and he could block, run, and catch well...with that said, he had the best offensive line in the history of NFL.

Everything you say is true. He might make my top 10 list of running backs. I haven’t gave it much thought though. There are and have been a lot of great RB’S over the years.

If we are playing pretend about who would be better from another era than you have to gather that during his era Bart was one of the best, as a QB and an athlete. One could imagine that if Bart grew up in the era that had strength and conditioning, nutritional advisors, and physical therapy like they do now that he would indeed be one of the better QBs in the league.

Yes, it's really all about the era.. I mean there only a few guys that could have or could play across the generations...the size and speed of today is no doubt greater, but they in my opinion lack the grit of yesteryear

Tom Brady would not last 2 games in the 60's era of football.

You can tell there is not any Colts fans in this thread:biggrin: These 2 could have been the greatest!

Manning in all seriousness for Qb. But there are a lot of greats.
