Got home from work and planned to take the wife out for a target session as usual. Glanced my bow over when I got it out of the case and a strand was hanging down from the string! Uh oh! Upon further inspection a few strands are cut. Oops not sure how I managed that but now I gotta get a new string on by Saturday. Called a pro shop to get it in tommorow. $125 installed custom strings and cables. They build them in house. Not sure how great they are but hey better than what I've got now!

Didnt get into specifics over the phone. I'm hoping so. They said that I can re-tune it right after the string is installed so I'm guessing it must not stretch much after install

I would shoot it about 15-25 times and then set it up..shouldn't be a problem from what I gather..

ugh, know that feeling. Had a really bad day last year. Went to go out and couldnt find my release. Figured I had droped it the previous evening helping a buddy drag his buck out after hunting. Ok, so i took out my spare. I hadnt even looked at it or like a year. Rusty, didnt want to open, but worked good enough. Went to make sure everything worked, drew back my bow, crack. couldnt figure out what the crack was, so went out hunting. Sat down and come light i look at my bow. The middle has a big crack down it. Cant believe it didnt blow up in my face. But, the only good thing was that I finally had and excuse to get a new bow so that was nice.

Just picked the bow up. Shoots amazing! Built new arrows 415gr. 13% foc. Shoots 265fps. Which I'm more than thrilled with. 74lb draw

Mathews tend to have a lot of stretch on their Zebra strings.. I was not going to take the chance on dealing with it mid season so I just got custom string made
