I've seriously thought about buying a wrist rocket to pop them in the butt when they come around.

    Pepper spray?

Don’t use bear spray as that can really harm a dog.

But pepper spray them a couple times when you catch them on your property and they won’t come around anymore? Maybe?

Or pop them with an air soft gun?

think of ways to make your property unattractive to them! Without causing them severe or permanent damage. I love dogs too much. Especially hounds and bird dogs!

Luckily they like the other neighbors property better lol. We only catch them on cameras on the west side of the property (they live on the SE side). The other hunter has 470 acres on the west side of the property and every camera has pictures of it. I think they cut the south side of our property and head over to theirs.

    Some other options :
    Triple strand wire
    #4 coilspring
    Snares
    A moat
    Burmese tiger traps
    Antifreeze

Plausibility and legalitt were never requirements.

But I’m such a dog lover. Can’t bring myself to kill an animal because it’s owner is an idiot.

Then if that neighbor won’t shut his dogs up, and apparently he won’t, then you will be seeing them all season.

You all are overlooking one of the best tools available that will be a deterrent to the dog and also serve notice to the owner that the dog was someplace he was not welcome. 1 word paintball gun.

I hear ya on this. When I was younger I'd whack a dog running deer no questions asked. I'm a softy now. Just can't do it. I loaded up a stray in the truck and took it to a no kill shelter when hunting... Best you can do is run them off when they're around. If your neighbors are like folks around here they'll be dead of lead poisoning after the first day of gun season...

You can write this on stone
"A bloodhound ain't gonna quite coming unless it's tied up or dead"

I understand this. I may just load it up and take it to a shelter bin the next town over haha

Then trap them one at a time and take them to the pound. It's your land you can humanely trap a dog. There is no law saying you have to contact the owner on the tag. Bring them to the pound. Now if there are no tags, trap them and drive 30 miles out of town and release them.
