What can I legally do to get the neighbor to tie up his dogs so they aren’t on every trail cam on my property and another hunters property? It’s getting ridiculous.

Call the Sheriff ? Have you tried talking to the dog's owner?

The other hunter has a bigger issue with them I think. They have called them twice and were told that they are farm dogs and that’s what they do. I’m afraid the guy will kill them this year.

Farm dogs that run get shot. It happens I am lucky that I do not have the issue very often. There is a jack ass 2 places to the north that shoots any stray dog or cat that ventures on his property.

I get that. It just sucks that this guy won’t do something to keep his dogs home.

Yes it does, the attitude that it is what dogs do is not an excuse. Tell the owner that you have traps out and it would shame to find his dog dead in one of your traps.

Ya I’m going to go out there and talk to them when I go hunting next. One of the dogs is a beautiful bloodhound.

I feel your pain but that decision could make hunting even worse for you guys.

Me and my buddy won’t kill them. It’s the neighbor on the other side that’s going to

Buy some chickens. Or some other livestock that dogs get ahold of.

    Put up cameras

Hopefully the dogs will get ahold of them.

When the owner gets tired of paying for all the chickens the dogs kill. He’ll take care of his dogs.

Sad for the chickens but I don’t want to shoot a dog. But I will if I have to.

Cannot believe that they didn’t tell him to contain his animals.

Maybe get them on the harassment of a legal hunter angle? Argue that they’re not containing their dogs and you feel it’s intentional because they know you’re hunting.

My buddies family just owns the land no hours there so I don’t want to make a neighbor mad because they are out there more then we can be.

If so, every trail cam pic on your property constitutes a violation.

For real? Between us and the other Hunter next door that’s over 20 cameras.

Sure sucks but bloodhounds/ bassethounds are the worst for running.
I hate them as bad as Pitts.

I’m sure it will since they are on either side of this property. We’d be stuck in the middle of it.

Our new neighbors have two great danes that she lets run free. They were barking at my wife as she was trying to exit her tree stand this past weekend. I asked the lady to keep them on her property and she just shrugs it off. They drive me crazy.

Ya. I can’t bring myself to shoot a pet. I’ll be looking for other options.
