All right guys here is the skinny on my doe from tonight. Around 6 PM i heard leaves rustle behind me. Familiar sound I love to hear on the stand this time of year. I stood up and got ready for a possible shot. A doe appeared at 30 yards soon followed by horns. Unfortunately they were little horns. After watching the pair for 2 or 3 minutes the doe decides to temp fate and walks by at 8 yards. I never saw the arrow hit her-- but at impact she flipped over backwards and started trying to get up. She made it another 10 before expiring.
Back in the stand the next few days. Im working some overtime overnights so Ill be hunting hard before or after work. After a second buck.

Ran into me and helicoptered down the side, he was a good deer too wish I could have salvaged some of him. How ironic for driving a hybrid , is it messed up that the first thing that I thought of was damn my bow is in my trunk, hope it’s okay. Still shooting straight, heading out in the morning
I had an awesome day in woods on Saturday. I saw my target buck but never got closer than 53 yards. 10 buck but only 1 shooter and he was too far. I will keep after it. Also I got my doe kill video finished up if anyone wants to check it out.
So you all know i wont be on here for awhile. Lost my fatherinlaw yesterday and dont know when ill go out again. Shoot straight.
