The Lineman's Rodeo is over for another year. Other than hockey games and practices I'm wide open for the rest of the season. The weather is cooling off and the leaves are changing!! I love this time of year!

When out yesterday morning. Had the ten point I’ve been looking for come in about 40 yards further south than I was hoping...right in the thick swamp bush...no shot, regardless it was a gorgeous morning to be in e woods!! Heading out this afternoon...fingers crossed!

Guys, I swear I will never bring home three deer in one trip again. My wife usually helps me process but she had doctor appointments yesterday and jury duty selection today so I've been working on them alone. All I have left are two hindquarters and we will do those in the morning. Then it'll be time to load the truck for a trip to Windsor, MO to hunt with my son-in-law for three or four days for a bow buck. He has three really good bucks on camera regularly: A solid 10, a 13 and a 14. I'm kinda tired of shooting does in Kentucky. Wait, let me rephrase that: I'm kind of tired of cutting up does I shot in Kentucky. I never get tired of shooting deer. The next trip up I will bring one home and donate anything over that.
