I know...I cheated. After I saw that I tried to revive her but it didn’t work... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So I'll going to the farm today to do some maintenance. Setting up a H rub , adding a camera back into the mix that I had to repair and putting in a Dripper. If I have time I am going to rake the walk one of my trickier sets. I've been sick as a dog for 3 days but still hunting. The wife turned off my phone alarm last night and left a note saying don't be mad you need sleep and I know you won't skip.
Had a bit of a scare but I'm alright. The base of my climber swung around and fell but I managed to get it back around the base of the tree. I'm alive and well.
The tree I'm on leans slightly. I was on the tree uneven and I felt it was about to give so I used a foot to try and move it the other direction and it fell. I'm using it like a hang on today so it only fell about five feet. I was able to get my feet on another branch. Grabbed the climber and set it up better this time.
I was just about to get down when I posted earlier and then I heard what sounded like someone letting out their last breath of air. I stood up to make out horns through the trees. Standing where I walked in. First wheeze I’ve ever heard. He’s old and looks like he’s on the decline. I would have shot him but he skirted me and followed a small buck who was sketchy down wind of me.
The harness helped for sure. Started to draw back on a doe and she decided to take a couple steps and not give us 50 points. It's 10:30 and this is what I'm looking at
You will get lots of props for letting him pass so I'll be that guy .... I totally would have shot. For passing on him I fart in your general direction.
If he didn’t get your heart racing then you did the right thing! You only get one buck tag in Ohio correct? Don’t burn a tag on something you’ll be questioning yourself Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Going and taking pictures of these dinosaurs is the only thing keeping me sane since I am not in a tree stand. They are cool ass creatures.
