How many here hunt with Bear compounds? What model and have you killed with it? I just scored a brand new in the box Bear Escape on eBay for a steal. Had a Bear bow years ago and loved it. Hoping this one is just as good.

    I’ve got a cruzer G2 I got pre-owned but unused.

Put about ~900 shots on it. Shoots good.

Only killed a few rabbits with it.

Going to begin hunting coyotes with it when my eye infection clears up. Probably next weekend. Will post photos...

I’m going to pick out a nicer bow that will handle the high volume shooting I do. I’ve added a Kuma to the list to try. And maybe wait for the new Status EKO before I buy...

Bear Approach here. Two does down with it so far. Had a Mauler before. I shot so many different brands and I just liked the feel of the Bear bows. When I bought the Approach I walked into the pro shop expecting to leave with a Hoyt but I just couldn’t do it.

Bear Divergent! Had to buy it mid season last year! Long story short, 2013 PSE Drive had a pseudo dry fire when an arrow exploded on me. Broke string, bent cam 1 day before I was leaving for Kentucky. Went to shop to buy a Mathews, but he only had 2 left with limb weights I didn’t want. So, there sat the Divergent, so shop owner set it up, I sent about 10 arrows down range and went hunting. Have not killed with it yet, but retuned it about 2 weeks ago, and I absolutely love the way it shoots. Love the 28” A2A! Hope to kill with it in the next week! Good luck all!

Bear BR33. Shot a buck so far. I love this bow! Its quiet, accurate, and easy to shoot. I never really thought of bear as a top compound brand but got a good deal on my bow and it has absolutely changed my mind

I have a bear motive 6 and a bear venue. I like both and both have a deer put down with them! I have a shop trying to sell me a br33 at close out price just haven't decided if I need a 3rd bow or not.

I still have a bear encounter and a Bear Moment. Both great bows and have killed plenty of deer with them. Only complaint on either were the stock strings.

Another vote for the bear encounter. I bought it brand new as a “ready to hunt package” and slowly upgraded the sight, string, rest, and stabilizer. I’ve killed a pile of deer with it and it has treated me good going on 5 seasons.

Now that I’m a better hunter and archer I want to upgrade to something a little better. Nothing wrong with the bow at all and for anyone starting out I would highly recommend it.

ChaChing. Just scored my 2nd 60# iron Kuma. Main rig and backup will be identical. Can’t wait to get it and start tuning it. I certainly want to go shoot the new Bears but I love the Kuma and don’t have any reason to get rid of them. All bows are way better than I’ll ever be but like new, used price about half of new bow. I’ll be shooting these a long time.
