Yeah I'm the guy who was filming for Dan Infalt in the Episode 17. It was embarrassing a bit though because I made a pretty bad mistake of dropping my camera out of the tree while we were breaking down. It was so dark and the camera just slipped out of my pack, hit my foot on the platform and headed for the ground.

Yeah Dan's awesome! A genuine guy and one of a kind. He's teaching me things here and there especially this last week. I think he liked to add pressure on me to see how I'd react to it. For example, when we were in the tree, he'd say things like "don't get picked off! or "you better get everything on film!" The guy sure does motivate me to be better, that's for sure!

Sounds like a solid dude, need more guys like that filming and making shows. I’m posted up for an evening sit, if given the chance I’m gonna take a doe. Behind me is recently timbered woods with a bunch of white oaks still standing and dropping, and in front is a secluded field surrounded by cover and bedding off the backside.

4 doe, was full draw on the one at 35 yds. She only gave me a 1/4 to shot, passed the shot up. 10 mins later the ******* neighboring farms German Sheppard ran a yearling right past me, he tucked tail and went back. Thought it was a yote for a second. Still got an hour left.

Yeah, not so much. I was honestly happy just to hunt and get pulled off the bench.

Ended up seeing 6 doe, a small 8pt and a spike. Coulda took one of the does but she had a fawn with her and I’m feeling soft today.

Tim. I didn’t see the outcome of your hunt that night on the show. How did it go? What’s your status now?

That gets me too. I’ve had to run too many fawns off while gutting their mama for my liking. The doe I shot the other night was with 2 yearlings. No mercy. Lol

That night was pretty good for deer movement. I was just too far out from them. They all crossed the field away from me and didn't get the best footage. I saw at least 15 deer that night. Probably 6 different bucks. 2 of the bucks were pushing 100 inches and were at last light. Was a really fun night in the tree!

It’s saying 34 for the low going into Saturday where I’m at. First frost in October like it’s supposed to be! My daughter has cheerleading and volleyball in afternoon but I’ve already got the green light from the Wifey to hit the woods till 930 am. Every mid October we get some cruisers. Should be some nice bucks coming to check stuff out

Sorry boys. Been MIA for a while.

I haven't had a sit yet in the woods. I'll have my first sit this weekend. So excited.

Looks like we got a couple does down. That's awesome!!!!

Just getting started here. I took my son out for his first hunt event last weekend. Did not see anything but, for him, everything is learning.

I learned something. A 12-year-old can't walk in the woods without sounding like a tornado walking in front or behind you...

It will be a fun season. Trying to get out Friday late afternoon and Saturday afternoon.
