She’s doing great. Doctor said everything has healed up really well and she shouldn’t have any restrictions on sports etc. and shouldn’t have any neurological side effects either, so I am very thankful for that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats on a beast and a great hunt! Thx for sharing Sent from my XT1710-02 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Just came here to ask about the 181” quote they posted. I hope you don’t get the antler fixed and hope you actually tell people it scores the correct score of 171” . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jordan let's stop with the misleading stuff...claiming you've never claimed the 181 is just false. You are a better man than that, at least I still believe that. YOU SHOT A PIG, WITH A GREAT STORY...none of the rest should matter. Congrats, but stop.
This is exactly the bs that scoring and competition has brought to the whitetail world that basically ruined it. It's all about the "fame" and social media crap to get attention as a big buck slayer, and its just never enough. The list of guys that push themselves to do stupid crap because of a few inches of bone on an animal's head is long. I guess a 171" slob killed in an amazing way was just not good enough. It had to be more. Always more for the attention and sponsors and whatever else must come form all this crap. Another few dollars and more leased ground and more worries about keeping up and being relevant. Never going to be enough, I can promise you that. If this is the most important thing in your life, you will never be happy because you are constantly trying to impress others with your achievements.
Why do you care? Chasing a guy around, calling out on a score and posting screenshots. You might want to revise the below from your website as I don't believe attempts at public embarrassment is considered Godly. Taken from your website "He is a Godly man and lives out the scriptures by example every chance he gets"
Jeezus guys, let it go. Who gives an eff if someone stretches a score a little by saying it is what it was before a tine was broken off. (I don't really consider that stretching the truth if the deer was 180" before he broke a tine off. You guys are all what I consider my friends on here but I have to be honest, some of this **** is getting stupid and petty. It's not like he is claiming a 120" deer is a 180+ FFS. If you don't like it then don't do that sort of thing but you don't really do yourself or anyone else any justice by following someone around nitpicking and harassing them over stupid ****. Honestly this is a lot of the reason I just don't hang out here much anymore and what ruined the contest for me.
The desperation of being defined by the size of bucks you kill has ruined it for me. Be happy with who you are and what you kill and leave it at that. The frustration is with the entirety of what whitetail hunting has become. Always needing more and bigger and better and the attention. Antlers have become crack for way too many guys. B just happens to be the current poster child of all that is wrong with the cesspool of commercialized whitetail hunting. Always feeling like the bridesmaid and never the bride, using deer to push products and personalities. It is a tremendous buck killed in an absolutely amazing fashion. It's a shame that in the eyes of some, that was not enough.
Jordan and I are friends there bud. I am not stalking him or doing anything un-Godly. Try again. I'll always be 100% honest to those I call friends, they can take it or leave it.
I think for the fore mentioned indiscretions the buck should be counted for team 27... And we are taking the extra 10 inches
Deer hunting and all hunting has always been goal oriented in some form or fashion, if it weren't then 99.9% of people would get bored with it and quit. That goal may be meat, camaraderie with buddies/family, numbers, size, points, length of beard, weight or length of a fish or whatever. Maybe you should consider stepping back and looking at another angle with issues hurting hunting, like people being obsessive compulsive about things others are doing and trying to find some issue with it to ***** about. I can sort of see an argument for someone pointing out illegal activity and shining light on it but stuff like this looks petty, small and childish to me. Not that my opinion is worth a squirt of piss in the wind but whatever.
I sincerely respect your view and you make some valid points. This year is 40 years of deer hunting for me and I can assure you that I have lived first hand the issues that have hurt hunting. No single issue has been more detrimental than the sickness of horn-porn and the desperation to be a star. Unfortunately, you wont find many of the players that don't have some kind of illegal activity in their closet. Even our favorite Uncle Ted fell to the pressure.
