Congratulations. I been participating in the contest for quite a few years, actually was on the winning team one year and don’t recall ever being on a team that shot this many doe this early. I like the trend. I better get out and do my part, lol
I've had pretty bad week starting with not finding my buck Monday. It's been hot and windy. Haven't seen much action. The deer that have been in range have been fawns. Had a doe wind me at 4 this afternoon. Someone has been riding a 4 wheeler over on the next property for the last 20 minutes. Hopefully he'll push deer my way. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Keep at it! Some of my best seasons have been when nothing goes right. Then before you know it, you'll shoot a big buck! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Guys I have not been in the woods for almost 2 weeks. Between work getting in the way and personal stuff, I've had zero time. This will all change after this weekend and plan to get back to hunting a few days a week. I'm really itching to start chasing bucks again! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I know you do! It's almost time! Have you started losing sleep yet? Lol Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Hey I forgot to tell you. I will be up in your neck of the woods on Saturday. Wife and I are going to be in Elizabeth town. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

That’s a little north of me. You will be close to Kinsey’s if you’ve never been there it’s a pretty cool store to check out. Alenhard15 works there but i would think he will be in the woods Saturday. What takes you to E town? There is another nice gun shop up that way you should check out if you have time. TROPP. they just did a big renovation a few years ago. The company I work for bid on the job but didn’t get it. I have not been there since complete but hear it’s pretty cool. Honk when you drive through the town of willow street if you coming up 272 into Lancaster. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
10 year wedding anniversary for the wife and I. Just a short get away. Hitting a brewery and dinner, then staying for the night. Can't remember the name of place we will be having dinner. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I'll finally be heading out for the first time this evening. Early October hunts have been good to me, shot my 2 biggest bucks on 10/5 and 10/7 a couple years apart. So hopefully I can see some deer, and maybe get a doe under my belt!
I've still got about 2 weeks before I will be able to get out there. I got a chance last Saturday evening. Made it about an hour and half into an afternoon sit. It was raining pretty steady the whole hunt and I started to hear some thunder off in the distance. Thought I probably should head in. Thank god I did, we had one hell of a storm. Lighting was intense and it rained really hard. I wasn't even back to the house for 5 minutes when it cut loose. I'm still not getting much on my trail cameras though. Had a young buck walk through a couple days ago, but not much going on. Pretty frustrating!
Guys, I shot a buck last night. However, in all of the busyness, I forgot to take some pics on my phone, so I will have to transfer them from my camera. This will not happen until probably next weekend since I’m heading out of the country tomorrow. He’s not huge, but he is mature. It was a buck that we had been watching almost every evening, and the ranch manager wanted him to be killed. 8 pointer, that I am guessing will score around 100-110.
