    Nice!

I wish I had something of that caliber on my cameras here at home.

That’s tough with the blind. Have to practice with it, but I guess it’s a little late for that. I usually shoot out of mine for a little bit to know my dimensions. Also for bow hunting I’ve found I like at least a 3 man style to have the room to draw and all that. Obviously it can be down with less, but that’s my preference.

Checked camera behind parents, 846 pics. 820 of a leaf flopping around, 2o of does, 6 of a fawn. I’ve had bad luck with cameras this year, but the cameras don’t kill em’.

So far I just have a lot of does also.

Should be able to get a landowners tag this year though, help on the doe front.

These 4 bucks have been coming by every night at 8:30 like clockwork. They stop here after visiting the area where my stand is I hunt. I had the little 9 pt standing broadside at 20 yds last night but they were running a little late last night and I could barely see him through the light of my pins that I wasn't confident I could make a clean shot and I would rather take that huge 8 pointer with the big spread. Hopefully they will stop by a few minutes early tonight.

I hunted lastnight, I had a great sit. I was in a big white oak overlooking some CRP with a point of Marsh slicing through it. To the West was some yellow soybeans, to the north is a 200 plus acre corn field. After watching a few does and fawns I had a decent buck stand up along the marsh and follow the script perfectly only problem is he was to0 small. On public I would have drilled him, but not on this farm. He was about was and 8 or 9 pointer about even with his ears and average tine height. I had him at about 10 yards. If I had to put a score on him id say 110-115. It was a great night to sit, nice breeze blowing to the north. Also the deer were still out eating those yellow soybeans in case you thought they didn't eat them once they turned yellow. I hope i don't regret not drilling him, but that's in the past now.

I didn't get that good of a look they were, but walking in along the soybeans they were all nipped off. and there was at least 4 sets of eyes that let me walk by at like 50 yards in the dark. I'm just saying don't discount them because they are Yellow, good chance they are still hitting them.

I've found they really like beans late in season too. Prefer corn through most of the fall, but then it seems to switch.

Hey Guys, just got back from an archery MT Elk Hunt. I was planning to start bowhunting this weekend, but now I have a bachelor party on saturday which ties up the whole weekend as far as hunting goes. I am also tied up the first two weekends in October ( May get out Oct 12th). Living Vicariously through you guys for now!

Glassed a decent 8 tonight out in the beans. Probably wouldn’t go much over 120 but he’s out in day light and I’ll see if I can’t make a move the first few days after 10/1

Definitely a 3.5yo or older buck. So that makes about 4 bucks in two different locations I’ve laid eyes on that I’m not afraid to turn one loose on.

Ok so can’t attach a pic for some reason. Pulled my camera yesterday though and I have bears. Lots of bears. Lol! One is sitting staring at my camera.
