The only reason I’ll pay more for a camera is simply the quality of pictures I’ll get. The best camera I’ve ever put out is a stealth cam G42. I’ve got the DS4K out right and I’m impressed so far. I buy most of my stuff on eBay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here is another blind for you to take a look at. 80" tall in the center. Bought one last year and thought it was really nice. https://www.sportsmansguide.com/pro...MIkPyx55re5AIVSh6tBh0G_wuAEAQYBCABEgL3m_D_BwE
I have usually been a Moultrie guy but lately I feel like their quality has gone down. Not sure who I am going to switch to. I will say there is a Spartan cam in my future though. Just have to get that kidney sold first. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Well I went with a Strike Force HD pro x. I didn't sell a kidney but got the dreaded eye-roll from the wife.
you will be happy with it. the only reason i stay away from flash cams is so other hunters don't see and steal it. now i'm starting to wonder if they even make a flash cam anymore?
My uncle uses brownings and loves them! I use the stealth cams I recently got the G45ngX it was a $100 and takes good pictures! I have started hanging my cameras high now and angling them down and so far no deer or person has noticed them!
I have a warm weekend ahead but I will still try and get out! my dad went out yesterday and swears there was another hunter in the woods.....there shouldnt be! he went looking in the area he thought he was but couldnt find anything so Im gunna see if I caught him/her on one of my cameras walking in! I hate people who ignore property lines!
Well looks like this may be my last year at my local spot near my house. Talked to the farmer who rented the land and he said he is done farming but still retains the hunting rights so I am good this year. But I am worried he won't have them for long so I need to start knocking on some doors this spring and summer to find another spot. Obviously my main property is in Indiana but that is 4 hours away so it is kind of nice to have a spot inside 45 minutes to go hunt even if the hunting is marginal at best.
I'm in the same boat, but my good property is 45 mins away and the marginal is 12 mins. And my wife still gives me crap for being gone so long...
I’m also in the same boat. The landowners at my favorite place are both in their late 80s and they already have a new farmer there since her brother can’t farm anymore. I’m worried about what’ll happen whenever they both pass away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We had to talk about this...one of my landowners died Wednesday I just found out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
thats why i hunt public exclusively with only one or two small private properties. public in my area is way better than any private.
I’m very fortunate with the spots I’ve got to hunt and the area where I live. The public isn’t very close to my house and it’s hard to hunt with a lot of pressure. I don’t have the setup to hunt public right now and be real mobile Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I went to pop up the replacement blind today. Had a doe standing at my parking spot upon arrival. I bet she won't be there next Saturday!
So do any of you have one of the spypoint cell cams? I think we already talked about it but I am just to lazy to look back through the thread. My field and stream store has them for $99 after you trade in an old cam. I have a few broke wildgames laying around some place. Was thinking of getting one just to try. But it's at F&S... Apparently, the pics suck. But it's perfect if you just want to know what's out there.
Yeah I don't care if it's F&S. Maybe if the other outdoor stores weren't so far away. And that is all I need is just an advance scouting tool. Might have to try it I guess. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
