    2 inches of rain yesterday and more overnight. Seems like it has been non-stop the last 2 weeks. Not good for the local farmers.

    If it is lost, I know how you feel brother! Lost one last year. Spent over 24 hours worth of time looking for her, hate it but it is a part of hunting all go through.

    I had no luck finding her very little blood tracked for a coupe hours and lost blood has hot as it was I figured she would spoil by time I found her

    Sucks man, but is what it is and any hunter goes through it. If you feel you did all you could to recover, find peace and get back out there.

    Im gonna try to do a test run in to my lake spot on my canoe next week. Bunch of islands that can really mess up your sense of direction. Mark in the route then next time ill go back in to those spots will be to kill.

    Haven’t been to the back 40 for 3 weeks. I’ll be out tomorrow afternoon after the rain clears. Hang and hunt on a corner of our bean field. Been so warm and muggy for this time of year.

    Finally gonna make some progress on my prepping (baby is eating up early urban options). Gotta get my carbon water wash of clothes done. Zeolite totes and such packed and attempt to remember where everything is clothing wise. Filming my own hunts I always despise the first couple hunts as I'm always running behind and forgetting the process LOL.

    I may make it out for doe only reduction zone hunt this weekend...we shall see.
