NW corner for me. Erie and Jefferson county is where I spend most of my time. Mostly private tracks. There are a few decent ones but the pressure is usually pretty high in our areas as well. Yep I fish up Erie all the time (never hunted up Erie way tho) and have a camp in Sheffield county that boarders thousands of state game lands, big bucks but hard to figure them out . Plan on hunting up camp a lil this year, hard with a 7 month old tho. BH member TC racing lives and hunt up by my camp and he kills some dandy’s.
i haven't seen him on here to much this year????? TC RACING is about 25-35 minutes from me Walleyes or steel-head. i fly fish for steel-heads
I fly fish for steelhead too, been doing it since I was 15, nothing like it! I also take my boat up in the spring for smallmouth, it’s a great time. I’m still trying to find a balance with the young one and my wife, she is great as far as “letting” me hunt and fish. I bust my ass all year long so when I do want to take a trip or a weekend she is good with it. I lucked out with her, This is the first season with a child tho and I’m already seeing less time in the woods but she is top priority and wouldn’t have it any other way.
I remember those days, it was tough to get out hunting and tough on the marriage. both kids in college now here. good luck,

NWPA here, too. I hunt private land across from Jumbo Woods (those in the area will know) - and also a chunk close to home. Nothing exciting on my cameras. Husband got 600 acres to hunt just over the line in Ohio where he is chasing some dandys.
I actually just spoke with my son today and he says he is seeing deer everywhere there. He almost hit a “monster”with his car on his way to the golf course for practice.
