LoL, I am not a doctor fellas. The name SouthernMDArcher..........live in southern Maryland and I consider myself an archer. Saw lots of doe with fawns tagging along this weekend, not one single lone doe or I would have drawn blood. V/r Dave S.
Need some advice team.. thinking about hopping in the stand tonight after work. If I leave now, I can swing by my house to change and grab my bow and could be in the stand by 6. Sunset here is at 7:33 tonight. Do y'all think thats cutting it too close? Worried I will end up spooking stuff and messing up that location for future hunts but I am really in the mood to take a poke at a deer. What y'all think?
Heck no, on early season hunts, especially if it's warm, I wait as long as I can. I would say 45 minutes to hour is good. If your approaching 30 minutes they may be a little close.
Season is open in my home state, but still not looking like I'm going to be able to get out anytime soon. This was the buck I was going to kill before my life turned upside down.
Well fella's, I'm not hunting today, but deep sea fishing off the Florida coast. Wish me luck. Hopefully I'll be posting some pics.
A few more cool pictures. The first 2 pictures are of a small hammerhead. If you look close you can see it.
Congrats man. Definitely a dream hunt of mine some day. Has to take your breath away, totally awesome!!!!!
