    Went to check a camera after a week soak and some idiot forgot to turn it on. Seems to happen to me at least once a season.

    No, I'm in a CWD zone and was unable to use any attractant until September 1st. I have trace mineral blocks out now so we'll see. Have several pictures of this young 8pt with potential but no shooters yet.

    Our deer season opened up this past Saturday.. I was in a bear stand that day though. Planning on going out for a couple hours in the morning when I get out of work. It will be just turning daylight when I get out but luckily I can slip into this stand easily without messing anything up.

    This bear showed up Saturday morning on the bait, thought for sure it would be back in that afternoon and taking a ride home in my truck but it never showed!

    This is really making me anxious for opening day.
    ME NEEDUM MEAT
    shame I have to wait until the 5th of October. That really sucks. Don’t know why they couldn’t open it on the last Saturday of September like they did last year. I have been and will continue to shoot every day until the day arrives. I want to be ready.
