    Alright finally on stand, only took 1 1/2 hours to walk in! Haha. Not sure if I'm were I need to be. It's so thick in here compare from this winter. Did find a couple doe beds and jumped a fawn on the way in. It's in the 70s with a light rain.

    Well it started pouring rain! Going to stick it out. I do have my first deer sighting. I have a small fawn about 20 yards in front of me. Just hunkered down out of the rain.

    I got my two stands in place. The farmer not only combined a swath to the woods; he cut a swath all the way around them even though the corn wasn't really dry enough to shell.

    Not only did he do that but he also bush hogged the stubble for me.

    I owe it to him to take out some of those pesky deer now.
