Welcome all to team Nine. Glad everyone has gotten checked in. this weekend I am placing a stand on my property and replacing another. you have to love a woman (Girlfriend) who sneaks onto your Amazon wish list and buys you two new lock ons and climbing sticks.
Sure do! My girlfriend sat in the truck for a 4 hour round trip to the bow shop plus an hour of time there to get some work done and at the end of it was just happy all the work was done. Feeling pretty lucky haha
I had a lot more pictures but I just snapped a few real quick before I put the cards back in the cameras. I know its not the best quality but just wanted to show you guys a few bucks that I have running around this fall.
Very nice, looks like a good card pull. I’m going to give mine another week or longer if I can hold out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pastures cut and baled. Should get one more cutting then rye grass to draw the deer and in this winter. 66 bales of 10 acres not to bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Merlin, My wife is rattling off names. Wilson's, Bosley's, Coltrane's, Dudley's. Any of those familiar? Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Sadly tomorrow is opening day temps forecasted to be 87 & 93 on Monday. That said I won’t be climbing into a stand for a few more days Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chief, you sleeping? I know retirement must be tough along with the fishing and constant deer hunting!!! Good Luck in Kentucky!
Nope. Not sleeping. My sister and her husband came to the area in their gigantic fifth wheel and invited us to the campground where they were staying. Fortunately we had some fresh bass fillets to fry up for dinner. We just got home and I'm pretty hammered so if there are any typos in this post that's why. I did notice today that you all are a chatty group, aren't you?
C'mon fellows. The idea is to get to know each other and have a good time. That means you've gotta post every now and then. Yes, that means you too Johnny Herrmann.
I did get a stand hung today with the help of the wife and our boys. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Evening everyone. I'm Carter. I'm from West Central MO. I'm married with 2 awesome boys, 8 & 12. I work for a local power company. I've been bow hunting for close to 20 years. I've been fortunate enough to harvest a few really nice bucks. I have a personal belief that the trophy is in the eye of the one that takes it. If it makes you happy, that's what's important! It's not about killing it because the neighbor might shoot it. JMO. Be proud of your trophy! Enough preaching. That's the whole point, Chief. If you can't see it maybe the deer can't either. I'd like this twice if I could, especially the part about the trophy being in the eye of the one who takes it. In all the time I've known you on the forums I think that this is the first time I've seen your real name.
