Heck yes! I have irritable bowels already, perfect team! And to think there is a celebrity on our team! Don't worry I'll stay humble and avoid throwing my fame into the conversation. Wouldn't that be 22? Or 2^2?

Good luck ADAM, your going to kill a good one this year, it wasnt your year last year but you kept me motivated for me to kill my biggest buck to date. i liked your positive attitude. GO GET EM THIS YEAR
Western checking in.. Erik from Massachusetts. I'll be hunting MA, NY, & OH this bow season. Possibly CT too. 1st time on a new team in 3 seasons... we almost had the 3Peat! This team will take it this year.
When does everyone's season start? NY is 10/1 & MA is 10/20 this year.. ugh... CT is mid September, but I doubt I'll be down there that early if I get there. Headed to OH Nov 10-15. MA Youth hunt is 9/28. Trying to get my daughter another this year with the smoke pole. Pics are slow so far this year. A couple of good ones roaming around, but not anything consistent... yet.
Tennessee opens 28 September but I'll also be hunting southern Illinois again, I gave them $487, might as well get my monies worth. I have been slacking on mt TN properties, late/lack of cameras, no stand prep, etc. I put a few cameras out months ago but only to watch some places I wanted eliminate as potential crossing zones, well, I was successful at that but no good deer on camera. I moved them to a few "hot spots" I typically get early season pics but have not checked them yet. I'm trying out the cool new fad of saddle hunting this year, I have a lot of spots where it will be extremely beneficial but there are still places I may use my climber. I really think the saddle is going to help me on the public spots in Illinois I hunt, we shall see, I have a bug pine tree thicket in some super duper thick stuff I want to get into and the climber is too bulky to tote in.
Hopefully we get everyone to check in and everyone stays active on the thread and we have no one disappear! The last 3 seasons we had everyone super involved. If everyone can put down a doe and some of us shoot a few nice ones there's always a chance. last year's contest came down to the wire. doe's, big bucks, fergie bucks... they all help!
I've been on a few bummer teams the past few years, slow check-ins and a very quick loss of interest in the teams members. I had my best deer season last year and took two very good bucks and even a big fat Illinois doe. I'm hoping to find one of those bigger Illinois bucks this year, all my map scouting was a bust when I showed up and they flooded the place in preparation for duck season. As soon as I get a free day/weekend I may head up to Illinois to walk that public land and pick out a few new spots for pre/post flood.
sign me up for super involved! My team last year there were 5 of us that are still in a group chat together! As far as hunting goes this year i will be hunting in PA and NJ NJ opens Sept 14th so i am counting down the days (19 to be exact) I haven'd had any big bucks on camera in jersey but I hunted a neighboring property 2 years ago and there were several 125+ bucks less than 700 yards away. PA we got a new farm this year that has a nice 10pt and several good 8s. Really looking forward to this season!
looks good alenhard15! I have a big 10 and a nice 8 on cam in my spot that I have shot my bigger deer over the past 4 seasons. I have a decent 2.5 year old on cam in my NY spot. It generally doesn't produce many big deer. Around here, any buck is a good buck. I try not to shoot younger deer if I can help it, but sometimes it just happens. Western Massachusetts and Eastern NY really are not good trophy hunting. It's just the way it is. New England in general isn't. Lots of big woods, very little crop land, and that what is decent is usually locked up by a local hunter or is owned by the many antis in the area that do not allow anyone in their land. most land is over hunted and most shoot everything that moves.. oh well. I have been lucky enough to secure a few spots over the years where I have shot some good bucks by my area's standards. I just had surgery on my ear last Wed and got back to work this past Monday. Hope to get out and check all cams and get things rolling hardcore this upcoming weekend if I get the green light from the surgeon. I have had minerals out and put bb2 blocks out a couple weeks prior. fingers crossed it gets good. My main priority is to get my daughter a shot at a buck on the youth hunt. Any buck. She has already shot a few deer. My younger has a tag this year. She is still on the fence about actually killing one herself, however, she loves to go with me and watch me do it!
I'll be hunting PA, NY, and a week in MO. Lots of private land for me. I run a bunch of cameras and I'll post a couple good ones I hope to see from a tree. Sent from my XT1710-02 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
