Yeah that was a little crappy, then again anyone dumb enough to go watch preseason football is very capable of being a jackass.
Obviously I am a bit biased on the subject, and I realize it is the preseason, but the Steelers defense looks solid finally. Great speed and youth, actually making the first contact count and stopping plays there. Roethlisberger is proven so no worries there, Conner looks to be on pace where he left off before injury. Wide receivers will come around once season and game preps start. Still like the double digit win call.
Good for Luck, he could have went on IR for the year and got paid, he decided to just end it and move on. Respect.
Easy to do when you negotiate a deal where you do not have to repay over 12 million in signing bonus $ and have made $98 million in career earnings. But I agree he is too smart to keep going back for more.
They really didn't have much choice on the $12 million. He had a 12 million roster bonus they owed him. So they just cancelled each other out.
I'd be willing to bet he signed some sort of contract that if he were to try to come back he would have to return to the Colts. Doesn't make sense otherwise, unless there was some sort of lawsuit Luck could have pursued for his injuries, but doubt that would be it. Oh well, now players will feel they can hold out the entire year when franchise tagged, demand trades for their ego and now keep guaranteed money if they leave the game early. I bet he will play again.
Imagine the **** talking Sota would be doing if the Vikings did something like this I could see you saying something along the lines of “Such a joke. A winning team should be focusing on football, not dressing up like it’s Halloween.” https://twitter.com/packers/status/1166778475329544198?s=21 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Now I would say that partaking in the chamber of commerce fundraising/outreach is a good idea, glad to see players enjoying their time doing it. I have been very civil to viking fans so simmer down Jake.
