Pretty cool experience yesterday up in some primo public land elk country. Got to watch 6 bears feed on one hillside for over an hour. This sow and 3 cubs were so awesome to watch. They wrestled around non-stop, as the mother fed. Tonight I’ll be sitting between two round bails on the 100 acres of land I just got permission to film/scout and shed hunt for whitetails. Had I been lucky enough to draw a deer tag for this unit, I’m quite positive they would of let me archery hunt it. It’s funny to think I came all this way and these whitetails are still the center of my attention.
A new coworker just gave me permission to hunt her 12 acres. My kind of hidden gem! I might just go in blind this season, since all my cams are dead.
I ran over this guy a work today! I have video of this buck working a scrape about 1000 yards from where I found the shed!
Cap is back! I’ll start being more active here gentleman. Yes I believe all we have to do is agree that we’re all doing it again and we will have the chance to defend our title. I just bought 3 new cameras and will have one more left to buy and I’m getting into deer mode now. I’ve been way too busy working at the golf course this summer (for way too little money). I’ve got two weeks left there then I’m focused on tree stands and cameras until October! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Might want to hit Justin up to see if he can move this thread into the new 2019 section unless you wanna start anew Good luck this year, going to be an interesting season for a lot of us with the crazy weather the first half of the year.
Anybody have experience with Browning trail cams? I'm going to cheat on Covert and try a few other brands.
