Delta I hate you, we leave St Louis late because of a ticket scanner, get to Atlanta and have to sprint to catch my next flight. Driving 2 hours starting at midnight on a freeway I was tempted to pin it and just get there but I settled and set the cruise at 79. So this morning I get to show up at a conference wearing shorts and a polo shirt.

Delta, Delta, Delta. So my bag arrived in Baton Rouge this morning as promised, except there was a problem. I gave to luggage agent the address I am staying at in Lake Charles 2 hours west. They had a rep call me at 11:30 about the time I was expecting my bag to show up. She explained that Delta does not deliver more than 70 miles away from the airport. I got a pretty good laugh out of that and asked why Delta is making their incompetence my problem? I am at a conference and have meetings scheduled with engineering companies and I am supposed to walk into a meeting wearing shorts? A supervisor is supposed to be calling me and I have both barrels loaded, perhaps they don't care about the $14,000.00 I have spent with Delta this year?

Boarded the plane in Baton Rouge ordered my preflight and then the dreaded announcement, ground stop everybody off storms in Atlanta. Probably will not make it home tonight. First time ever that I walked off a plane with a cocktail in my hand.
