This is part of the 5 Exercises that was posted recently. I was searching for exercises and found the Korean regimen for their archers who are some of the best in the world. Look at their records in archery competition and the Olympics. This is from a Bing search. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...4DDFE216CC6D6A77E0B64DDFE216CC6D6A7&FORM=VIRE

I consider target archery masterbation, hunting is fornication. What would you rather do?

Hunting is only half the job. If you can't kill them with a good shot, all that "hunting" is for naught.

Nothing wrong with practicing your craft, getting good at it, and forming that muscle memory that's going to help when you're in high stress situations.

Do that exact move 8 times a day....all a person needs for vitality. Oh yeah, you have to wear that outfit and recruit 2 other sweaty guys to do it with.

I highly respect archers of all kinds, but looking at a guy pulling a 50 lb bow, with multiple 2 foot stabilizers in target archery takes the mystique out of shooting a bow. Its like competition gun shooters with a small caliber bullet and no recoil. You can make your equipment as easy to use as you want to.

Shooting a bow is one thing. Shooting a bow accurately, time and time again, on the biggest stages in competitive archery, is a whole different world. I don't care what your draw weight is or how long your stabilizers are. Equipment is great, but the archer is the one executing those shots. The best are the best for a reason, and it's not all about what they're shooting.

I got a dude on my IG account who specializes in archery prevention to shoulder issues etc.

Today’s exercise was laying face down on a bench doing dumbbell rows with emphasis of shoulder blades contracted before lifting up for the row.

Interesting concept I might add. Says it is the #1 movement to aide in drawing a bow.

Has anybody ever injured themselves drawing their bow that did not have a preexisting condition?
