I am not using any. I just mow often. I've tried weed control on past years and it just doesn't seem to work very well. Heavy seeding and mowing works best here, especially since the plot is in the woods where there is limited feed. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Hit it with a foliar fertilizer. You will be surprised how much of a difference it makes both in growth and attractiveness to deer. I have 3 clover plots. Of the three I only sprayed one to see the difference. A lot more action on the one I sprayed.

I walk over plots in the late summer with a light seeding of turnips fertilizing and rolling just before a rain.
Fix I have had the best result with these products. https://antlerking.com/product-category/liquid-soil-conditioners-fertilizers/ Check around though on the web for the best price. Clover fuel is good for clover and legumes, Jolt is good for just about anything and Plot max is more of a soil conditioner than a fertilizer. If you cant find them you can use miracle grow too. In the end they all are about the same price once you compare the mixing rates. Good luck brother.
Just posted a reply to Fix. Like I said there are other products out there you can try. The best part is that the risk of burning the plot is almost non-existent is you follow the mixing ratios.

I had twin fawns on the food plot last night eating the new clover, wish they would give it a few more weeks but that is what the clover is for. Just ordered clover fuel.

Kinda funny I was concerned about mowing the clover too often, then I realized that the clover I mow every week in the yard is thriving.
