How many arrows do you carry on a hunt? Do you mix arrows, mechanical/fixed? Do you carry any varmint broadheads? If so what kind do you recommend? I carry 4 arrows typically, and have a couple BH's, target BH, & field point.
This year I’m carrying 3 NAP Slingblades and a Magnus Black Hornet fixed blade. When I’m walking I nock the fixed blade. Last year I was shooting trypans but I lost one and broke one shooting at coyotes
I carry 3 BH's with Muzzy fixed blades (mechanicals not allowed in Idaho) and one arrow for grouse. The grouse arrow either has a blunt on it or a field point with an adder point.
I carry four. All Slick Trick Magnums. I am with @Sota. If I am hunting deer, I am hunting deer, not shooting arrows at squirrels. The same broadhead will kill a coyote just as dead, so there is no reason to carry a different one.
I carry three to four Black Eagle Spartans. Tipped with Magnus Black Hornets. Most my hunting is spot and stalk.
Usually start the year with 5 and end up with 3 or 4 depending on how much stuff I shoot. Most of the time I've got a 50/50 split of Spitfire XXX and Thunderhead Nitro. I alternate which one I nock from hunt to hunt.
I'm switching from Muzzy 3 blade 100's to NAP Killzone 100's. I plan on carrying 5 broadheads in my quiver and 6 small game heads to shoot squirrels in my pack. Tons of grey squirrels where I hunt. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
How do they get in there? The late comedian, Groucho Marx, said he shot an elephant in his pajamas. "How he got in there, I'll never know." Interesting and as diverse as can be. My quiver holds six arrows, have to check.
ONE .... just kidding. Three with Magnus stinger and one blunt for squirrel or grouse Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
5 arrows in my quiver. All have the NAP SpitFire XXX. I sometimes take a lighted nock out of one and designate it for a fox or coyote.
if its deer or turkey hunting I'm carrying at least 4 arrows, all broadheads. Last dozen years its been slicktricks.
