LMAO $250 for a tote. GD hunting is all about status now and brand reflection. Remember these things Deer can't see Sitka There is cold and yeti cold You need a new bow every year LW climbers weight .5 lbs and put themselves up And all attratants work when used correctly.
How about a $40 five gallon bucket? https://www.yeti.com/en_US/buckets/loadout-5-gallon-bucket/YLOB5.html
Those things are good though. Mine get beaten up on the boat, dockside and at camp and still not a ding or crack
It would, but I like and can afford nice things. But to give them their dues, they are seriously tough
I gotta admit that I chuckled a bit at the price of this thing. That said, I have several thousand invested in Sitka Gear and Lone Wolf stands (with no regrets whatsoever). I buy gear that I believe will perform the best for me...not to try and impress anyone. But, I think the $40 totes I currently use work just fine. I also don’t care about what others choose to spend their money on.
I'm a libertarian, I don't care what anyone buys. An item is worth whatever the public will pay. I just enjoy laughing ppl that buy it . Remember guys racing stripe and stickers make your car go faster too
I don't care what people spend their money on, I just find it amusing when companeis take something like a bucket or a tote and try to convince the public that they are "better" than the generic option. There are tools in life, like a 5 gallon bucket, that can only be so efficient. It is not a technological marvel, it is a bucket! Meat
I can't lie, it is just a bucket, but I own one I use it strictly for brining my wild game. I suppose a regular bucket would work just fine but the whole food grade thing sold me. Hell I'm not even sure that's a thing but I can afford it so why the heck not
And now a $50 dog bowl! https://www.yeti.com/en_US/more-gea...j__s__e__h_1023960_ii__vi__&utm_source=google
Yeti coolers are certified to hold up to dry ice. Not every cooler is. Sitka, ever been caught on a mountain in a rain storm in the spring? Performance gear can save your bacon. Happened twice last week. If you hunt 1/2 mile from your truck in your home state, Yeti and Sitka may not be worth it. When you’re up a mountain and you life may depend on it, it’s worth every penny. What I spend my money on is my business, and my wife’s. You spend yours how you want.
Has anybody ridiculed you for your purchases? Nope, didn't think so. Did anybody say anything about Yeti coolers? Nope, didn't think so. I am just pointing out absurd prices for common, every day items that, when some company throws their logo on, they then jack the price up. You cannot convince me that they have some sort of techonogical knowledge that makes totes, buckets and dog bowls worth anywhere near the price they are asking. If you want to spend your money on them and that makes you feel better about yourself, great. Meat
Been out for year or so actually My dogs are snobs too ha. Got 3 of them. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I seem to have hurt some feelings here. Once again, for those with reading comprehension issues, I have no problem with what you buy. I am a huge fan of capitalism and actually am impressed with Yeti that they can convince a large number of people, many on this site apparently, that they can improve on the technology of a bucket, tote or dog bowl.
